Rights
The Current has the following taping and trading policy:
The Current gives Etree permission to archive shows for public download and noncommercial, royalty-free circulation. Any other site that wishes to host music by The Current should contact them at mgmt@thecurrentband.com or at http://www.thecurrentband.com.
The Current also allows audience taping at all shows. If The Current is playing in an event which features multiple bands, the taping policy of the headlining band will dictate the taping policy for that evening. All taping of live Current shows is restricted to audio only; video taping will be allowed with permission from the band specifically and depend on the individual venue's policy. Audio recording is limited to portable equipment which includes microphones and a recorder. Power or other auxiliary equipment are generally not supplied so be prepared to bring your own equipment. If you wish to tape, we encourage you to arrive early to set up. Any other issues/questions, please ask for the band's management team, they will be more than happy to help.
All taping must be for personal and non-commercial use only. No profit is ever to be made from live shows. You are permitted and encouraged to trade shows with other fans for an equal amount of media (ie. 2 cds for 2 cds). The Current also requests that a copy of the recording (CD-R prefered) be sent to:
